The MG PA type is a sports car produced by MG from 1934 to 1936.
This two-door sports car used an updated version of the Wolseley Motors designed and made overhead camshaft, crossflow engine, used in the Morris Minor of 1928 and previously fitted in the J-type Midget from 1932 to 1934, which drove the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox without a synchromesh.
The chassis was a strengthened and slightly longer version of that of the J-type with suspension by semi-elliptical springs all around and rigid front and rear axles.
The steering was initially a Marles Weller and later a Bishop Cam system.
The two-seater car had a wheelbase of 87 inches (2210 mm) and a track width of 42 inches (1100 mm). Most cars were open two-seaters, but streamlined Airline coupe bodies were also made.
The P-type was also available as a four-seater, like this one.
Less than 500 were built of this type of MG PA and is very hard to find for this reason.
Very good value as an investment for collectors.
This MG was initially purchased by its previous owner as a collector's item and has been in Belgium for 19 years.
It was never registered and still has its original UK plate.
Meanwhile, the car was imported and there is a vignette 705 present.
A very good driving and quite original MG PA for a very soft price.
There is a new soft top and a set of stab windows in Mohair with the car for drizzly days.
Unique opportunity for collectors to get one.
